Educators can now register their students for the inaugural Active Citizenship Convention 2025 – 'Our Voice. Our Impact'.
Year 10 students across the state are eligible to attend. Schools are able to book groups for one day across the three-day event. Monday 18 August will be focused on regional schools.

Venue: Adelaide Oval
Dates: Monday 18 August - Wednesday 20 August 2025
Times: 7:45 am to 3:00 pm
Convention program
The program has been co-created with students to encourage reflection and highlight:
- youth influence
- digital engagement
- media in democracy
- how to be an active citizen
- connection with community leaders.
Activities
An MC will add humour and heart to guide students through:
- dynamic keynote speakers and interactive panels
- youth-led group sessions
- lunch with legends and leaders
- live music performances.
Registrations
Registrations are available for:
- one table - 7 students and 1 teacher, or
- half a table - 3 students and 1 teacher.
Places are limited. Please register your school early to avoid missing out.
Registrations close 4 July 2025 (end of term 2).
How to register
Schools with year 10 enrolments received an email invitation from the Hon Blair Boyer MP, Minister for Education and Skills. Your link to register can be found in this email.
A wait list is available for additional students or to attend on an additional day. Additional places will be allocated once all schools have had the opportunity to register.
