
Inspiring educators committed to helping the state’s children and young people discover their full potential were recognised at the 11th annual º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Australian Public Education Awards ceremony last night.
Selected from a strong field of finalists, 10 winners were announced at the event, held to acknowledge the excellence and innovation demonstrated across the public education sector.
School and preschool-based winners were highly commended for their efforts in supporting both student learning and wellbeing.
Through the delivery of innovative initiatives, they have given students a voice in the classroom and engaged families in their child’s learning outcomes.
Winners outside the classroom stood out for their commitment to deliver world leading digital technology solutions in regional º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Australia, and support for families through parent engagement initiatives.
The winner of each category receives $10,000 and two finalists from each category receive $2,000 to undertake professional learning or purchase resources for their school community.
